KETAMINE THERAPY

2.jpg
Opening Yourself to New Pathways of Connection and Relief

When emotional pain feels immovable, it may be because the mind has learned its limits too well. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) helps the mind loosen those patterns and create space for new perspective, compassion and healing.

Ketamine opens the window; therapy helps you walk through it.

Heather offers KAP in collaboration with licensed medical providers who handle all medical aspects of treatment. Their role is the psychotherapeutic “container”: accompanying you in preparation, emotional grounding during sessions and thoughtful integration afterward.

The thing to be known grows with the knowing.

What is Ketamine-assisted Psychotherapy?

Ketamine is a well-researched medicine that has been used safely for decades in clinical settings. In therapeutic doses, it can produce a gentle shift in perception - what many describe as a state of expanded awareness, or an emotional reset.

When paired with therapy, this altered state allows people to access healing work that was once out of reach. Read more about how ketamine therapy works, or get in touch with Heather and get started today.

How Ketamine Therapy Works

  1. Preparation. First, you will meet with Heather for orientation and intention-setting. Together, you’ll explore current challenges, discuss medical screening with collaborating medical providers, and design a safe mental and emotional container. Preparation can be one or two sessions, or it can span multiple weeks.

  2. The Medicine Journey. Ketamine is prescribed by the medical provider (through lozenge, nasal spray or injection). When in office, Heather provides a therapeutic presence throughout the experience - attuned, grounded and responsive. Sessions can last from 45 minutes to three hours. When self-administering at home with a chaperone, Heather will be available via text, phone, or telehealth.

  3. Integration. Afterward, Heather helps you translate insights into meaning and daily life. Together, you will explore symbols, sensations, emotions or imagery that arose, connecting them to your goals and values. Integration turns insight into transformation.

It may be appropriate if you’re experiencing:
